Thank you for downloading Chilibase!

Only a few steps are necessary for installing Chilibase® - the following instructions will help you. Please be sure that you fulfil the system requirements before starting installation.

Download & Installation

In order to install Chilibase® on your PC please follow the instructions below:

  1. Close Outlook®. If you use Outlook® via a exchange server in a offline mode, you have to synchronize your data first before closing.
  2. If you have not done it by this time, you can download Chilibase® in our shop or on this page. Click on the button "free trial" and follow the instructions you are given.

    When using Internet Explorer, safety information from your browser (beneath your toolbar) will appear claiming that “To help protect your security, Internet Explorer blocked this site from downloading files to your computer. Click here for options..." please click on this message anyway and go to "download file..."
  3. As an Internet Explorer user you can decide between “Run” and “Save”. If you click on “Save”, choose a saving location and double click on the .exe file after downloading the file. If you have chosen “Run”, the file will be downloaded and immediately executed.
  4. Please extract the compressed (zipped) folders and execute the "setup.exe" file. After that you will be asked to read the licence agreement. Please confirm this by ticking the box “I agree”, if you agree with it. Click on “Finish”, and Chilibase® will be installed automatically.
  5. After installation is complete, start Outlook®. The Chilibase® Indexing Assistant will configure the system as necessary. We recommend that you tick the box „Start indexing when finished“ so that your contacts, appointments and mail correspondence will start up in the background automatically. You don’t need to do anything else!
  6. Now you will see that the Chilibase® personal panel has appeared on the bottom right underneath the Outlook® navigation panel.
